What We Do
B Team Earth is focused on mitigating and eliminating carbon emissions as much as possible. As environmental agendas begin to take the stage in global and national politics, it is important that the people take action as well in cleaning up the Earth.
The Earth Team contacts companies, raises awareness through social media, and speaks with politicians all for the purpose of making sure that no one is blind and everyone is accountable for their emissions.

As a volunteer you can participate in our meetings where we brainstorm pitches to important figures in the climate change community, speak to experts, and conduct research. Recycling Bins at Gas Stations
In collaboration with the local city counsel, we've launched an initiative to place recycling bins at local gas stations. This effort aims to encourage responsible waste disposal and increase recycling rates among residents and visitors alike. By making recycling more accessible, we're taking a step forward in our mission to reduce landfill waste and promote environmental consciousness within the community.

Digital Carbon App
Digital carbon is the greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the use of digital technologies like computers, smartphones, data centers, and cloud services. Reducing digital carbon is crucial for global climate goals and sustainability. We recently discussed digital carbon emissions with Representative Don Beyer, Co-Chief of the Safe Climate Caucus, to raise awareness. Introducing VEL, our patented app that calculates the carbon dioxide emissions from your email account based on the number of emails and their associated carbon footprint. Download the app through the provided link to assess your email's carbon impact. Your rating and review would greatly support our app's development and accuracy. By curbing emissions from digital technologies, we contribute to mitigating climate change. Our world's increasing digitization necessitates addressing the rise of digital carbon as an environmental hazard. Through VEL, individuals can understand the carbon footprint of their digital activities and make informed choices. Together, we can work towards a more sustainable future by reducing digital carbon emissions. Your feedback is valuable in refining the app and advancing its accuracy. MIT SOLVE
The MIT Solve Project focuses on addressing global carbon emissions and extreme weather conditions by enabling communities to adapt to their climates and transition to low-carbon housing. In Phase I, we developed a software solution that offers customized climate change solutions at both individual and government levels. Taking into account factors such as income, location, and resources, the software suggests tailored solutions based on a comprehensive database. Our aim is to provide accessible and data-driven recommendations, empowering individuals and governments to make informed choices in the fight against climate change for a sustainable future.
Plant-n-share
Plant-n-Share is dedicated to promoting a low-carbon lifestyle, with a specific focus on harnessing the power of soil carbon. Soil carbon refers to the elemental carbon stored in soil through the process of photosynthesis, wherein plants capture carbon dioxide and convert it into organic matter. This results in the carbon being stored in the roots and soil, thereby making a significant contribution to reducing overall carbon emissions. To raise awareness and encourage climate action, Plant-n-Share shares plants accompanied by an informational brochure. This brochure educates readers about the importance of soil carbon and highlights the immediate impact of their efforts in combating climate change. By facilitating the dissemination of knowledge and providing tangible resources, Plant-n-Share aims to empower individuals to play an active role in mitigating carbon emissions and fostering a sustainable future.
