Art Therapeutic Workshop
WHAT IS
ART
THERAPY?
Art therapy is a form of treatment that involves using the creative process of making art to improve an individual's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It allows individuals to express themselves through art, which helps them explore their emotions and gain insight into their thoughts and feelings. B-Team Up at Sun Mar Nursing Center incorporates Mandala art therapy, which involves mandalas - geometric patterns that are often used as a tool for meditation and spiritual growth - to promote a sense of inner peace and harmony, thus reducing anxiety.

Ai art therapy

This innovative approach enhances self-expression, making therapeutic workshop a more engaging and insightful experience.

art
helps
Art therapy sessions help elderly individuals reduce loneliness and social isolation by not only allowing them to express their thoughts and emotions nonverbally through art but also creating a supportive environment for social interaction with therapists and other participants. Color analysis is also used to deepen the therapeutic process, as the colors that participants choose signify various emotional and mental states. For instance, red represents love and passion but also anger and fury, while blue might indicate clarity and completeness but also cold and obsessiveness. At the end of each session, art therapists provide personalized feedback to the participants based on the art they created, encouraging self-reflection and promoting a sense of positivity in their recovery journey. Art therapists at B-Team Up are required to complete a training session - which covers foundational knowledge in art therapy and mental health, color analysis, and skills to provide care to elderly patients - before joining.

Global AI Art therapy template database
The background of B-team up's ai-thrapeutic art program.
B-Team Up’s Artificial Intelligence Therapeutic Art program began at Sun Mar Nursing Center. The center hosted a largely Korean demographic so primary efforts went into helping the patients with a variety of mental conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder, dementia, and depression. After noting the improvement in patient mental health from participation in art projects that targeted information surrounding cultural background and traditions, we now seek to expand this program.
Our goal is to extend this benefit to people from a more diverse set of cultural backgrounds facing similar struggles and provide ease of access by making a database of available projects widely available.
what does the database entail?
This Global AI-Art therapy database is designed to enhance therapeutic art sessions worldwide. This free-to-download database includes templates from over ten countries - Korea, Japan, China, the Philippines, Cambodia, Argentina, Brazil, America, India, Ukraine, and Vietnam - each verified for accuracy by a collection of anthropological experts. Each database covers various categories such as Traditional Food, Landscape, Traditional Activities, Holidays, and Landmarks, each personalized by life stages (youth, middle-aged, senior), ensuring that the templates foster a sense of familiarity and respect for the patient’s cultural background, enhancing their comfort and engagement in the therapeutic process.
Who can access the database and how do I use it?
The database is available for local nursing centers, hospitals, or individuals wishing to start similar programs programs. To use the database, simply download the templates, integrate them into your sessions, and allow the culturally resonant images to guide your patients.
